Lacewing Larvae for aphids
Lacewing larvae love to eat aphids & are able to eat over 300 aphids each, so use them to clear heavy infestations of aphids in the garden i.e. on rose bushes or to clear heavy infestations of aphids in greenhouses and conservatories.
We send the larvae in a cardboard wafer, which is then simply sprinkled over the affected plants. They soon settle down to feed on aphids and other soft bodied insects such as whitefly and thrip. They will then develop into adult lacewings, which will produce the next generation of larvae to feed on more aphids. Lacewing larvae are safe for children, pets and wildlife and are easy to apply. Lacewing Larvae are available between May and August each year - pre-order for delivery w/c 08/05/17
